Posted by Lise at February 3, 2004 06:22 PMhey..I hope u enjoy this journey.It is indeed really fascinating how the hair texture changes how it grows..I wasn't patient and did the big chop like u say..I shaved my head back in August '01, I had like one millimeter of hair on my head..now I have a question for u..don't u think the relaxed hair at the end is slowing the growth process..because they are like almost dead, aren't they?

Rastavivi - Wow...you had some real courage to chop like that! I admit that I'm way too vain to do anything of the sort. However, I do have to agree with you that the relaxed hair seems to slow down the growth progress. I suppose that's the tradeoff to transitioning rather than doing an immediate chop.
