I still can't believe I cut my hair this short. No wonder everyone thought I was going through something! Me in February:
Time flies, doesn't it? :)
Since I've perfected my twist routine, all I've really been wearing is twists when I'm not going out anywhere and twistouts when I do. I wash my hair about 3 or 4 days and then retwist. I think this a bit easier on my ends than all the pulling and stretching I did for my puffs. This particular twistout was done on hair I'd conditioner washed the night before. I then applied Carol's Daughter Hair Milk and proceeded to put in medium sized twists. This takes me around 30 minutes I'd say.
Here's a few pics of my hair after I've unraveled the twists. It's grown some because the hair on the sides tends to hang more and I actually have to put some work into making it stand on end. I never wear it totally down. It needs to be corraled into a headband lest I look too wild. :D
And here's a couple of pics of how it looked about an hour later after I stuck in a black plastic headband and went out into the elements for a while.
I'm a lil sleepy here, but my hair isn't.

Apparently I'm happy to be having a good hair day.

It'll be interesting to see how the twistout evolves over the coming months as it grows out. In the meantime I'm keeping the hair routine very low maintenance. Of course I shall update if my hair does something remarkable.
