Eh. I'm not feeling this layout. I'll have to do somethin bout it later. Anyhoo, I've got a lil mini update. Last night I did my normal conditioner wash (DD Tender Apple), then ran a small bit of shea butter through my damp fro. I was a bit bored, so I got it into my head to put big twists in my hair to wear overnight for a twistout. Didn't take long at all since I was really trying to part or anything. I just grabbed and twisted.
When I got up this morning, the twists were fuzzy as hell (as usual). I unraveled them, wet my hands and ran them through to separate my hair into basically a chunky fro. I knew the twistout wouldn't be as defined as when I put my hair in smaller twists, but I like the results:
*sigh* I'm not feeling those gray hairs in the front. Ah well.
I doubt I'll be able to rock this past today. My head is kinda itchy and I believe I need to shampoo and deep condition. After I may twist...on dry hair this time so that I can maybe get more hang time. I'll post pics if I do that.
I've taken to wearing a chunky fro most of the time, with or without a twistout. I usually just run wet hands through my hair to make it curl up, then use a little CD hair honey for sheen if necessary. Sometimes I want a A. Davis fro like yesterday, but when I look back at pics from Feb. I don't feel so bad. I'm still rather surprised I had the gumption to cut my hair that short. Check it out:
When you take care of your body and your hair, growth is eventual. I'm happy with what I have so far.
TTFN, kiddies. I'll try not to let too much time pass before the next update.
I don't really have any updates for y'all. My hair is growing at a decent rate, but in terms of styles I haven't really been trying anything new. I promise I shall let y'all know what's up the moment I get un-boring...and get some batteries for my cam.
Toodles!
