Twiiists!

At night I do one of two things to my hair: separate it into mini afro puffs for stretchage, or make medium sized twists. This is the twistout from my night twists that I wore for about 2 days. Turned out pretty decent I think:

This one was really defined; usually my twistouts look like chunky fros. I think the difference here was that I twisted my hair while it was still very damp and I took the time to actually carefully separate the twists. (Usually I'll unravel the twists and just grab chunks of hair and move em into some semblance of... something.)

Mmkay..back to being silent until I'm unlazy enough to try something else with the hurr.

your hair looks so purtay. does wearing headbands cause breakage around your hairline? i'm going to grow my relaxer out for a bit then do a big chop...but mentally i'm not ready yet...got to prepare myself for the ignorant comments from family & friends.

Thks. :) I make sure my headbands are really loose, cause the last thing i need is a case of tension alopecia! And since I don't go out a whole lot, I don't really wear headbands an awful lot.

Take your time with that transitioning. That way you'll be nice and well-adjusted when you're hit with the barrage of dumb questions and general insults.

Yeah Delightful, I got this site long before I even started transitioning. So it was only natural that I devote part of my website to one of my favorite topics...my hair. :D
