Green Grease, Anyone?

So I washed and conditioned the mass of curls and tangles that is known as my niece's hair. Then I put some CD HHB on it. Looked mighty sheeny and healthy. My sister looks at it while I'm trying to detangle and says to her, "It looks dry. You need some of that green grease." *sigh* Ignant. I told the niece, "I guess she wants the shine only mineral oil can provide." Well she can glop that mess on there her damn self. I won't be responsible.

In other news, the KMS Curl Quencher conditioner I bought for 60% off works like a charm. My hair was sooo soft! Thumbs up on that one. Also my hair is growing at a pretty good rate. I can tell because the curl naps in the back are starting to look unruly. I'll have to resist the urge to cut them back in submission. Pray for me. :D

I commend you! I had to brad my hair through the grow-out stage, I couldn't hang! LOL

Aww thank you I'm on the beautiful list! I'm cracking up because I'd added your site to my bookmarks a few weeks ago and had been regularly checking in (I'm a blog addict but am too lazy to ever finish getting my own blog up- designers block I guess) so I was surprised to see my name on the list. Your hair and your site are just gorgeous I look forward to seeing your naptural beauty continue to shine.

Reddy - I keep forgetting to tell you that your hair is looking darn good...and growing! Woohoo!

Brick - I'm still way too fascinated with my hair to braid it. Plus my hair is very fine and fragile at the edges. I don't want to risk messin with my naps!

Divastate - Thks. When I came across your site I looked at it in one sitting. Anyone who is contemplating going nappy I send to your site...you definitely have some inspirational hair. :D
