It's not so much about taming the beast as it is about becoming its master. Gaining those androgynous powers of discernment, along with the ability to conjure energies at will. Be Shiva or Shakti; righteously applied in measured quantities to any situation.
This is self-transcendence...and balance.
The path of The Magician is one of remaining present and cognizant of the infinite power of potentiality. See all that is. Through the veil to the blueprint; discover its replication in the double (sometimes triple) helix. Once self is mapped, now comes the task of blending Heaven and Earth...making the inner like the outer. As above so below and your job is to glow and show. Be a supreme three-fold being of thought word and action. An example.
Revolution always begins at the individual level.
Along this path, there eventually comes a choice. Ignore the call of duty and use your new-found tools for earthly gain; or practice radical humility and fully own the role of divine spark...the one that incites others to critical mass. Now comes the time for chain reaction...we could all be sacred alchemy.
Ironically, this is the path of least resistance. When I give over and flow...I live.
